Elevator Speech

The first step

,
the elevator pitch is useful when meeting a potential customer, especially at a commercial event. You typically have 10 to 30-seconds to make an impression, so it is worthwhile to practice the pitch until you feel that it reflects well on your capabilities. It describes how you offer value, benefits and quality.

It comes out so naturally you can say it in your sleep. By ending with an open-ended question, you encourage the listener to speak.

To create the draft speeches, we will first ask you about 's offering, your target market and benefits.

We'll ask about the immediate result you are looking for.

Then we'll provide a starter "elevator pitch," like the one on the next page.
